Katrine Briksdal and Johnny Træet live on Godøya which is about 15 minutes from Ålesund. We are both in our early fifties and have a passionate interest in Spanish, Spanish culture and traveling. Johnny worked in South America for 4 years and learned Spanish on his own. Katrine works as a teacher and Johnny is a chief engineer on a boat.
Katrine has studied Spanish at the University of Málaga, Centro Internacional de Español de la Universidad de Málaga (CIE-UMA). There she has completed Spanish studies with results at level B2 / C1. This corresponds to the European standard where A1 is the beginner stage, and C2 is the highest level. She has been teaching Spanish for a number of years and after several requests we will now offer customized Spanish courses.
Many people want to learn a foreign language. Many Norwegians have holiday homes in Spain, and would therefore like to know a little basic Spanish. The obstacle is often that the threshold is too high when you have to sit on the school bench in adulthood. For that reason, we offer a low-threshold course. We want others to have the opportunity to learn the language and thus see how many more doors open. During two intensive weekend courses, you will be able to express yourself easily in Spanish, and then get help to develop further on your own.
The course instructors have designed the course through a customized course material. We will go through the booklet together, where you will learn pronunciation, build vocabulary and learn simple grammar. We will go through the material step by step, and you will have the opportunity to carry out simple tasks and practice speaking Spanish. We support you continuously in the learning process. We learn in different ways, therefore we will work with both individual tasks and collaborative tasks in pairs or small groups.
Our target group is from 10 - 100 years, it is never too late to learn a language! The course does not have a high degree of difficulty and there is no exam. If you are satisfied, we will be satisfied :) We will always try to adapt the course to the target group. We can also design courses for companies that want a simple introduction to Spanish communication with customers, for example. Welcome to the Spanish course with us.
